Zephyr Grill & Bar – LIVERMORE

Zephyr Update July 18th:

We're happy to share that progress is moving forward steadily at Zephyr Grill & Bar. As we've continued restoration efforts, we discovered that the impact was more extensive than initially expected. While the fire itself was small and swiftly extinguished, the primary effects came from water, smoke, and soot.

Thanks to the thoroughness of our amazing insurance and construction teams, we're taking this opportunity to make meaningful improvements. We're excited to announce that brand-new flooring will be installed throughout the entire restaurant-and if needed the entire restaurant will be repainted. Cleanup is still ongoing, and an Industrial Hygienist has been onsite to ensure every affected area is properly addressed.

Given the scope of these upgrades, it now looks like we'll remain closed through August. We don't have a firm reopening date yet, but we'll keep you updated as we move into the next month.

A Fresh Look for a New Chapter

As we use this time to reflect and reimagine, we're also looking ahead to the future of Zephyr Grill & Bar. We turned 21 this past June-a milestone that feels like the perfect moment to refresh our identity. When we reopen, we'll be welcoming you back under a new name: Zephyr on First.

With this rebranding comes a thoughtfully curated all-day menu, slightly more focused and featuring something we're especially excited about-steaks! This isn't a new offering but a new focus for us. We are also adding rack of lamb as a new choice. As downtown Livermore currently has no dedicated steakhouse, we believe Zephyr on First will offer something truly special to the community.

We'll also be introducing updated hours to better suit our guests' needs:

Monday - Thursday: 3 PM - 9 PM

Friday & Saturday: 11 AM - 10 PM

Sunday: 11 AM - 9 PM
