After 22 Wonderful Years, It's Time to Say Goodbye
To Our Zephyr Livermore Guests,
After more than 22 years in Downtown Livermore, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Zephyr Grill & Bar. Our final day of service will be Saturday, October 31st.
When we opened Zephyr in June 2004, we could never have imagined what the next 22 years would bring.
We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, weddings, holidays, business lunches, family dinners, and countless special occasions with you. We have watched children grow up, families expand, friendships form, and generations of guests walk through our doors.
Through it all, you allowed us to be part of your lives—and you became an enormous part of ours.
As many of you may know, over the past several months we have been exploring the sale of Zephyr Livermore. Our hope was to find a new owner who could carry the restaurant forward and allow it to remain part of the Livermore community.
Unfortunately, that path did not come together, and after much consideration, we have made the difficult decision that it is time to close this chapter.
The past year has also been especially challenging. After the fire in July 2025 forced us to close for several months, we rebuilt and reopened with tremendous hope for Zephyr's future. We gave it everything we had, which makes this decision that much more difficult.
But as sad as we are to say goodbye, more than anything, we are grateful.
Grateful for every dinner reservation.
Every birthday celebration.
Every anniversary toast.
Every holiday spent with us.
Every Martini Monday, Wine Wednesday & Happy Hour.
Every familiar face who walked through the door and made Zephyr feel like home.
And especially grateful for the incredible team members, past and present, who helped make Zephyr what it has been for more than two decades.
We still have a few weeks left together, and we hope you'll help us make them memorable.
Come have your favorite Zephyr dish one more time. Raise a glass with us. Bring back an old memory-or make one more new one.

Our final day will be Saturday, October 31st, and until then, we look forward to welcoming you through our doors.
